1. How to quick hide windows

Step 1:
Launch Second Hide.exe, you will see the main interface as Picture 1 and a tray icon on the taskbar as Picture 2.

Step 2:
Choose the window to be reserved from the list (See Picture 3), then minimize the SecondHide Window to do whatever you like. Don't be panic when someone unexpected comes up, only

Click the mouse's middle button
OR
Click the mouse's left and right button together
OR
Press keyboard's hotkey(Ctrl + H is default)

All windows will be HIDDEN except your reserved ones at the beginning. (Picture4).If the hidden windows contain any tray icon, the tray icon will be hidden together with the windo"ws. Once that person leaves, you can redisplay the hidden windows by clicking the mouse's middle button.

That’s all. So easy for any of you that wants to do your own thing without letting your boss or unexpected people notices.


2. How to make the private programs running in the Background without detected?

One of the significant functions of Second Hide is to specify programs running in background as well as to hide the tray icons down right at the corner of window.

Method 1 : Use wizard to set which window or tray icon to be run in background.

Step 1:
Click the button of “Running the Program in the Background” in the Second Hide Main Interface then the specified background processing wizard appears, click on the “NEXT” button, and you will see a list of tray icon windows (See picture 5).

Step 2:
Choose the tray icon and click “Next” button to finish the setting. Please find out the difference between picture 6 and picture 7.

That’s OK. To display the hidden background processing program, you can choose the option of “Show” in background processing program list.

Method 2: Use hotkey to run window or tray icon in background, and customize the hotkey for each hide window.

Step 1:
Customize hotkeys for windows that have been set to run in background: Take “Free Cell” for example, select the “Free Cell”, and then Right click, choose the "Custom BK Window Hotkey..." (picture 8)

Step 2:
Press the key you want to set as hotkey for the background windows, for example, press Ctrl + Shift + Q, then click “OK” as picture 9

Method 3: Appoint Window run to background at once

In “Windows List”, select a window which you want to run in background, right click, in the popup menu choose “Background his window”, then the window will run in background instantly, and be shown in the “’Background running program list”. You can show it as well when necessary.

3. How to disguise window

Users can also change the icon of the application and its title in order to disguise compromising elements into legit windows necessary in your line of work

Step 1:
Select which program you want to disguise (Take the FreeCell for example as picture 10)

Step 2:It offers 12 icons to replace, include PhotoShop, Notepad, Outlook, MS Word, Adobe Reader, Excel, Windows Calculator, Flash and Dreamweaver. Select which icon you want the FreeCell to be. See picture 11

Step 3:
After finish change the program icon, the next step is to change the program title. See picture 12 and picture 13
